Concord Grape Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen, unbaked 9" pie shells*
  • 4 cups Concord Grapes, washed and seeded*
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Quick-Cook Tapioca
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter*
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Thaw 1 pie shell.
  2. Preheat oven to 425*F. 
  3. In a medium saucepan, cook grapes over low heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in tapioca, sugar, salt and butter; Continue cooking 2 more minutes.
  5. Pour mix into frozen pie shell. Cover with thawed pie crust and cut several slits in top to allow steam to escape.
  6. Bake for 40- 50 minutes.
